Driving Brand Relevance • Elevating Underrepresented Voices • Amplifying Tech for Good

As a Director of Social Media at Microsoft, I lead global brand storytelling that doesn’t just inform—it inspires connection, fosters belonging, and shifts perceptions of what tech looks like and whom it serves.

With over a decade of experience partnering with iconic brands, I believe deeply in the power of social media to build meaningful relationships, amplify marginalized voices, and elevate “culture-first” narratives that resonate. I specialize in turning complex innovation into human stories—connecting product, purpose and people across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, Threads and more.

What sets me apart

  • Inclusive leadership & team building: I’ve built and led high-performing, diverse teams—bringing in historically underrepresented talent and creating environments where authenticity, empathy and growth are core to success.

  • Purpose-driven brand strategy: At Microsoft I developed a platform-first social strategy rooted in empowerment, launched new content pillars, defined a measurement framework around brand love, and drove 7 million new followers in one year (FY23)—our largest growth in four years.

  • Cultural storytelling that matters: As a gay Latino from rural Wisconsin, I bring lived experience to my work—championing representation, ensuring campaigns include the voices I once didn’t see, and helping big-tech brands connect more genuinely with diverse audiences.

  • Operational excellence + creative edge: From crisis communications to creator collaborations to building scalable frameworks for experimentation, I operate at the intersection of rigor and imagination.

My mission

I’m committed to changing the faces, culture and connection that big tech brands have with our world. I want every campaign, platform and conversation to reflect who we are—not just who we think we are. Leadership with lasting impact means more than metrics—it means real human stories, elevated voices and shifts in perception that outlast the moment.

Beyond the job title

When I’m not strategizing global social playbooks, I co-create with @stayathomegays alongside my husband, sharing humor, heart and queer-culture energy. I’m passionate about live musical theatre, one-person comedy shows and drag cabaret—because I believe bold creative comes from everywhere. I live in Los Angeles (formerly Wisconsin), I have two dogs and a constantly evolving perspective on what social really means.
